8th April 2006 - Module Day
The latest in our series of module days (number 5) was again held in St Marys Church, Trimley St Mary.
For the first module day of this year we were hoping to see to see some new modules. Unfortunately these are not quite ready yet, but evidence of an impressive Ribblehead type viaduct, to be incorporated on one module was on display. The result was that the usual three modules plus the fiddle yard and the return loops, giving a layout around 25 feet in length.
As usual there was a small but steady steam of visitors, including one or two new faces.
Despite Christmas having occurred since the last gathering, there was a decided lack of new toys. One of our newer members did have a couple of recently purchased items which after a little tweaking ran well. However the members do have a substantial amount and range of stock between them so there was a wide variety of items on show, including an appearance by Thomas for junior visitors.
